This month’s hoplist will not only be a scenic list, but a rewarding list as well. If you are flying with FSX you will automatically be rewarded with the following FSX BADGES (patches).
This is earned for landing at the most Northern airport in Flight Sim.
This is earned for Landing at the Highest airport in Flight Sim.
This is earned for Landing at the Top 5 Highest airports in Flight Sim.
This is earned for landing at the shortest runway in Flight Sim.
This is earned for landing at the most remote airport in Flight Sim.
This is earned for landing at the most southern airport in Flight Sim.
Once you have obtained these rewards, you may view them by opening your Flight Simulator X program and clicking on “Pilot Records” and view the “Rewards” tab.
We haven’t forgotten about our FS9 Pilots. After completing your hoplist in FS9 you may receive your Badges by sending an e-mail to: N90831 (Steve)with your e-mail address. You will be given a document/picture with all six rewards to view at your personal pleasure and to show your friends what an accomplished pilot you are. ( OMG !) (gag !)
NOTE: Only (1) document/picture will be rewarded no matter how many times you complete the hoplist. This hoplist not only was created for rewards. It was also created for you to enjoy the beautiful scenery our Earth has to offer. Also, feel free to fly at your leisure to enjoy additional scenery Flight Sim has to offer such as:
These well known objects can be seen in Flight Simulator. However, you must find them on your own. They are on the Island.
For our FSX pilots, I would encourage each of you to download and install the following add-on:
Scenery upgrades for the 4 main Antarctica airfields (FSX)
Unfortunately, after hours of searching I could not find any comparable scenery for our FS9 Pilots. However, at your own risk you may try to install the FSX scenery to see if it may work.
Lukla-X is a payware add-on that is available at Aerosoft for FSX or FS9.
Get your motor runnin' Head out on the skyway Lookin' for adventure And whatever comes our way Yeah baby' go make it happen Take the world in a love embrace Fire all of your afterburners at once And explode into space
This Hoplist was great thanks Steve. Very well put together considering the extra long hops needed to cover the globe. I flew some places that I had never been to before and now I have the awards to prove it. Top Job
